Abstract:
A vehicle object location procedure uses a video camera (48) and radar sensor (50) with image processing module (54) to determine a search field in the image from radar data and search using an un-sharp mask for the object outline characteristics with the accumulation in successive images of higher resolution data and a matching of the mask to the observations. Includes Independent claims for equipment using the procedure.
