Abstract:
Inhalation actuated percussive ignition systems are disclosed. Systems comprise a housing defining an airway, an airflow sensitive actuator coupled to the airway, and a mechanism coupled to the airflow sensitive actuator configured to activate a percussive igniter in a response to an airflow in the airway produced by a patient inhaling through a mouthpiece.
