Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot matrix type display device capable of executing a display composed of a combination of a still image display and a moving image display with extremely low power consumption in a pixel part, and securing excellent operating characteristics such as a wide operation voltage range and a fast operation speed in a peripheral circuit such as a gate signal line drive circuit and an image signal line drive circuit.SOLUTION: A gate signal line drive circuit 3 and an image signal line drive circuit 4 of a dot matrix type display device (LCD panel 11) respectively comprise a first p-channel TFT and a first n-channel TFT. A drive selecting circuit 5 comprises a second p-channel TFT and a second n-channel TFT. An amount of n-type impurities contained in a channel of the second p-channel TFT is greater than an amount of n-type impurities contained in a channel of the first p-channel TFT, and an amount of p-type impurities contained in a channel of the second n-channel TFT is greater than an amount of p-type impurities contained in a channel of a first n-channel TFT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
