Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover of a low manufacturing cost, that cannot easily be swept away from a gully or the like at a time of heavy rain.SOLUTION: There is provided a cover 1 that comprises a cover body 1a and a plurality of pipe members or rod members (pipes) 1d disposed on positions apart from each other in the vicinity of the underside edge part of the cover body and closes an opening part of an open hole with the cover body with the plurality of pipe members or rod members in a state of being disposed in the hole part of the open hole. The cover floats upward from the open hole to release water pressure through a gap between the cover body and the opening part and is prevented from detaching from the open hole by some of the plurality of pipe members or rod members abutting on the inner face of the hole part when water pressure is applied to the underside of the cover body, and descends by its own weight to close the opening part of the open hole with the cover body with some of the plurality of pipe members or rod members separating from the inner face of the hole part when the water pressure applied to the cover body decreases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
