Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method and kit for phospholipid hydroperoxide-dependent cell death, a protein and nucleic acid, a phospholipid hydroperoxide-dependent cell death inhibitor, and a preventive or therapeutic agent for diseases by clarifying a factor involved in a cell death pathway caused by PHGPx depletion.SOLUTION: The invention provides a detection method for phospholipid hydroperoxide-dependent cell death having a step of detecting the production of phospholipid hydroperoxide and the activation of C87436 in a cell sample.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 27
