Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulase available for hydraulic fracturing and flowback fluid treatment agents in gas discovery and drilling.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a thermostable cellulase derived from Thermotoga maritima, polynucleotide sequences encoding the cellulase, polynucleotide sequences increasing expression of the cellulase in bacterial expression systems, bacterial expression systems including the polynucleotide sequences encoding the cellulase, and methods of using the thermostable cellulase in hydraulic fracturing and flowback fluid treatment agents.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
