PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transfer device and an article transfer system capable of saving space around the device and improving working efficiency.SOLUTION: An article transfer device 10 includes: a carry-in part 14 for carrying in a carriage D on which containers C are loaded and separating the containers C loaded on the carriage D from the carriage D; a transfer part 17 for transferring articles to the containers C separated from the carriage D; and a carry-out part 19 for loading the containers C containing the articles on the carriage D and carrying out the carriage D on which the containers C are loaded. The carry-in part 14 and the carry-out part 19 are configured so that the carriage D can be moved from the carry-in part 14 to the carry-out part 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
