Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transporting device capable of efficiently removing paper powder from a sheet transported through a transporting path without requiring a user to frequently execute troublesome exchange operation, and an image forming device.SOLUTION: A second transporting device 52 comprises: a frontside transportation guide 371 and a rearside transportation guide 372 constituting a vertical transporting path 37; a resist roller 521 rotatably supported by the frontside transportation guide 371; and an electrostatic filter 524. The resist roller 521 is brought into contact with a print sheet in the vertical transporting path 37 by rotating a rotational axis 523 to transport the print sheet toward an image formation position. The electrostatic filter 524 is provided closer to an upstream side in a transportation direction of the print sheet than the image formation position in the vertical transporting path 37, to attract paper powder sticking to the print sheet by electrostatic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
