Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device which can perform a smooth drive operation without an incongruity even if a vehicle is switched to automatic drive.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 10 comprises: a takeover requirement part 64 for issuing a takeover requirement to a driver prior to the takeover of at least a part of automatic drive to manual drive; and a takeover requirement timing setting part 70 for setting timing for issuing the takeover requirement by the takeover requirement part 64 on the basis of the difficulty of drive for the driver after being taken over to the manual drive from the automatic drive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
