PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction apparatus and a transaction method capable of upgrading users' convenience.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction apparatus 10 includes an input reception unit 11, a display unit 12, a control unit 13, and a storage unit 14. The input reception unit 11 receives a transaction instruction and a card 20, and acquires history information 22, which stores a history of operations at the automatic transaction apparatus 10, from a storage unit 21 included in the card 20. The control unit 13 acquires management information 15, which stores information needed to control a screen image displayed on the display unit 12 of the automatic transaction apparatus 10, from the storage unit 14 of the automatic transaction apparatus 10, and displays a screen image, which is used to execute the transaction instruction, on the display unit 12 on the basis of the management information 15 and the history information 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
