Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a fuel gas production apparatus, with which an operation is stopped in a state where the operation can be restarted promptly while suppressing complication of equipment.SOLUTION: When stopping an operation by stopping a supply of a raw material gas to a desulfurization part 3, a whole amount of a fuel gas G passed through a moisture removal part H is circulated to be returned to the desulfurization part 3 via a circulation gas channel R after stopping the supply of the raw material gas to the desulfurization part 3 and discharge of the fuel gas G to outside. Also, the fuel gas G is circulated by a circulation drive part 7 in a state where the fuel gas G to be circulated is heated to a set standby temperature by a heating part so as to heat a modification part 5 to a temperature corresponding to an operation temperature for performing a modification treatment. Also, a standby operation treatment is performed for continuing a supply of steam J in a state where a supply amount of the steam J is set to be equal to or more than the supply amount with which precipitation of carbon due to thermal decomposition of the fuel gas G can be prevented and less than a supply amount for performing the modification treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
