Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning system capable of accurately measuring a position of a receiver by using an acoustic signal transmitted from a plurality of transmitters.SOLUTION: The positioning system includes: a plurality of transmitters 3; and a receiver 4. A first acoustic signal and a second acoustic signal of a predetermined strength or higher received by the receiver 4 are detected as a first received signal and a second received signal, respectively. An installation position of the transmitter 3 corresponding to a frequency of the first received signal and a time difference between the first received signal and the second received signal is identified and a position of the receiver 4 is measured from the installation position. Here, at least transmitters 3 to which the same frequency band is allocated among the transmitters 3 are positioned by being separated from each other by a distance at which the first received signals from the two or more transmitters 3 to which the frequency bands are allocated from the first acoustic signals of the frequency band received by the receiver 4 at an arbitrary position in the monitoring space are not detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
