Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a heat dissipation route to dissipate heat produced when a light-emitting element and a phosphor emit light in a light-emitting device, and to prevent the reduction of a light emission efficiency of the phosphor by enabling the execution of efficient heat dissipation.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device comprises: a light-emitting element 1 having a first face 1a, a second face 1b on a side opposite to the first face 1a, and a peripheral side face 1c between a peripheral edge of the first face 1a and a peripheral edge of the second face 1b, provided that the second face 1b of the light-emitting element 1 includes a first element electrode 2a and a second element electrode 2b; a glass lens 3 having a convex form 3a and a flat face 3b making a bottom face of the convex form 3a; and a phosphor layer 4 including phosphor particles 4a, and located between the first face 1a of the light-emitting element 1, and the flat face 3b of the glass lens 3, provided that the phosphor layer 4 is glued to the first face 1a of the light-emitting element 1, and the flat face 3b of the glass lens 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
