Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert exhaust emission control performance of a catalyst early and suppress deterioration in brake performance.SOLUTION: ECU64 adjusts ignition timing of an ignition plug 30 provided in an engine 12 to different retardation depending on temperature of a catalyst 58. However, the less a degree of deterioration in the catalyst 58 and the higher a degree of shake down of an engine 12, the more an amount of retardation of ignition timing is corrected so as to be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
