Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of reducing a situation that NOx is not completely purified in a NOx selective reduction type catalyst caused by discharge of NOx in NOx occlusion reduction type catalysts.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device includes an exhaust pipe in which an exhaust gas generated in an internal combustion engine flows, a NOx selective reduction-type catalyst disposed in the exhaust pipe for purifying nitrogen oxygen in the exhaust gas, and a plurality of NOx occlusion reduction-type catalysts disposed at an upstream side of the exhaust pipe with respect to the NOx selective reduction type catalyst in an exhausting direction of exhaust gas flow, and occluding nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas. The plurality of NOx occlusion reduction-type catalysts are disposed at intervals in the exhausting direction, and successively arranged in order of higher occlusion capacity from an upstream side in the exhausting direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
