Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transport device which can inhibit failure that a supply part becomes unable to supply cards in a case that multiple cards supported by a support surface are sequentially transported.SOLUTION: A sheet transport device 1 includes: a support surface 51 supporting sheets SH including cards CA; a supply part 41 provided at a position facing the support surface 51; separation parts 42, 43 provided at the downstream side of the supply part 41 in a transport direction D1; an inclined surface 53 which connects to a support end part 51E at the downstream side in the transport direction D1 on the support surface 51, inclines upward to the downstream side in the transport direction D1, and comes close to the separation parts 42, 43; and a restriction part 70 which is provided on the support surface 51 and restricts a position of a second end part CA2 at the upstream side in the transport direction D1 on the card CA so that the first end part CA1 at the downstream side in the transport direction D1 in the card CA is located at the downstream side of the supply part 41 in the transport direction D1 when the card CA is supported by the support surface 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
