Abstract:
To address the difficulty of confirming a detailed situation around a stopped elevator while an obstacle such as a beam if it exists at the position of a rescue port inhibits rescuing through the rescue port during the rescuing through the rescue port when optional one of a plurality of elevators provided in parallel stops between floors due to a failure.SOLUTION: This elevator monitoring device monitors a first car that is lifted through a first hoistway and provided with a rescue port on a juxtaposed second hoistway side, first control means for controlling the lifting of the first car, a second car that is lifted through the second hoistway and provided with a rescue port on the first hoistway side, and second control means for controlling the lifting of the second car.
