Abstract:
To further improve entertainment aspect by achieving diversification of a position game based on the position information.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an augmented reality display system in which a virtual object is synthesized and displayed on a video obtained by photographing the reality world. This system includes: a camera 121 for photographing the video of the reality world; a position information acquisition part 144 for acquiring coordinates and orientation when the video of the reality world is photographed by the camera 121 as position information; an image analysis part 145a for analyzing a relative distance between subjects related to each pixel constituting the photographed video of the reality world as depth information; a virtual display data generation part 145b for generating the virtual display data on the reality map information M1 including geographic information in the reality world based on position information acquired by the position information acquisition part 144; and a synthesis processing part 145g by which the virtual display data generated by the virtual display data generation part 145b is superimposed and displayed on the video photographed by the camera 121 in accordance with the depth information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
