Abstract:
To provide an electronic device which enables a portable information device and an accessory device to be easily separated while preventing a connection state of the devices from being intentionally released.SOLUTION: An electronic device 10 comprises: a state detector which is provided in at least one of a portable information device 12 and an accessory device 14 and detects whether or not the electronic device 10 has a predetermined stable posture; an intention detector which detects whether or not it is intended to remove the portable information device 12 from the accessory device 14; and a control section 22 which operates a connection mechanism 16 when it is detected using an output of the state detector that the electronic device 10 has the stable posture and it is detected using an output of the intention detector that it is intended to remove the portable information device 12 from the accessory device 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
