Abstract:
To improve convenience of a communication instrument.SOLUTION: In one aspect, a communication instrument comprises: a processor; a housing that is formed by joining a front case and a rear case; a physical key pad that is attached to an outer wall surface side of the front case; a speaker storage unit that is provided on an inner wall surface side of the front case; and a speaker. The processor executes telephone conversation processing using a first telephone conversation function that provides a service for a radio set in which a predetermined operation is required for transmitting a transmission voice during telephone conversation, or telephone conversation processing using a second telephone conversation function that provides a service for a telephone set in which a predetermined operation is not required for transmitting a transmission voice during telephone conversation. The physical key pad is attached to the outer wall surface side of the front case. The speaker storage unit is provided on the inner wall surface side of the front case. The speaker is attached to the speaker storage unit to be opposed to a contact surface of the front case and physical key pad in a direction to emit sound toward the inner wall surface side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
