Abstract:
To provide a viscosity measurement method and device of an unvulcanized rubber capable of rapidly gripping viscosity analogous to the viscosity of the unvulcanized rubber at the manufacturing process of products such as rubber while making a space required for viscosity measurement small.SOLUTION: A measurement method of an unvulcanized rubber allows an unvulcanized rubber R to flow into a constant cross-sectional flow passage 2 to be filled therein by injection means 3, and detects a pressure P at a detection position of one place of the flow passage 2 by one pressure sensor 6, and further detects a flow rate of the unvulcanized rubber R by flow rate detection means 7. Alternately, a top end position in a flow direction of the unvulcanized rubber R is detected by temperature sensors 8b, 8c which serve as top end position detection means and velocity detection means and detects a flow velocity of the unvulcanized rubber, and calculates a viscosity μ of the unvulcanized rubber by a calculation part 9 based on the detected pressure, the detected top end position, and the detected velocity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
