Abstract:
To secure a circuit area of an electronic circuit.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe according to an embodiment comprises a plurality of vibrating elements, a first circuit, and a second circuit. The plurality of vibrating elements performs at least one of transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves. The first circuit is arranged on a back side of the plurality of vibrating elements. The first circuit is provided with an electronic circuit corresponding to each vibrating element constituting a first group out of the plurality of vibrating elements, and provided with a silicon through electrode corresponding to each vibrating element constituting a second group out of the plurality of vibrating elements. The second circuit is arranged on a back side of the first circuit. The second circuit is provided with a silicon through electrode corresponding to each vibrating element constituting the first group, and provided with an electronic circuit corresponding to each vibrating element constituting the second group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
