Abstract:
To solve the problem that a conventional image processing apparatus cannot accurately output a result of OCR processing for a short time.SOLUTION: An assignment control unit 2130 of an image formation apparatus 20A transmits a request for performing an OCR processing from different four directions of up, down, left and right respectively to an image of a document to an image formation apparatus 20B, and server apparatuses 50A and 50B. The assignment control unit 2130 of the image formation apparatus 20A transmits result information pieces indicating results of character recognition from the different directions to the image of the document based on the request. A user I/F unit 2120 of the image formation apparatus 20A outputs the results of character recognition based on a result information piece whose conversion ratio to a coded character code is the largest among the respective result information pieces received by the assignment control unit 2130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
