Abstract:
To provide a composite antenna device that includes a magnetic field antenna using a coil and another type of antenna and can be made compact while preventing deterioration in performance of the magnetic field antenna.SOLUTION: A composite antenna device 1 is housed in a door handle provided on a vehicle and includes a first antenna 11 configured as a bar antenna and a second antenna 12 configured as a dipole antenna. The first antenna 11 is a magnetic field antenna for transmitting radio waves in a low frequency (LF) band and the second antenna 12 is an electric field antenna for transmitting and receiving radio waves in a 2.4 GHz band. The second antenna 12 is disposed on the side of the first antenna 11(that is, opposite to it) in a posture parallel to the first antenna 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
