Abstract:
To prevent external charging by timer charging from being not executed even though the timer charging is scheduled to be executed.SOLUTION: A vehicle is configured to be able to execute external charging that charges an on-vehicle power storage device by using power supplied from a charging cable outside the vehicle. An ECU of the vehicle is configured to be able to execute timer charging (reservation charging) that starts the external charging at a scheduled time. If the charging cable is not connected with the vehicle even though the timer charging is set (the timer charging is scheduled to be executed), the ECU of the vehicle transmits an email indicating the charging cable is not connected with the vehicle to a user's smart phone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
