Abstract:
To provide a robot that comprises a sensor which accurately detects that a movable device such as a robot approaches or contacts the other object and can improve safety against a collison without causing troubles in work for contacting an end effector with an object.SOLUTION: The robot comprises a sensor in which an electrode part of the sensor for detecting that a robot main body approaches or contacts the other object is formed on an outer surface or on an inner surface of an exterior member, and controls a driving part of the robot main body part on the basis of output signals from the sensor so that approaching of the robot main body part to the other object can be avoided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
