Abstract:
To provide a particulate matter feeding device which prevents unexpected fall-off of particulate matters.SOLUTION: A particulate matter feeding device for feeding particulate matters comprises: a feeding hopper 10 by which the particulate matters are fed to an internal space 10A by an air flow generated by making the internal space 10A, storing the particulate matters, have negative pressure; a conveyance pipe 20 whose upstream side is connected to an exhaust port 10D of the feeding hopper 10 and whose downstream end part is opened; a screw 21 which is arranged in the conveyance pipe 20 to convey the particulate matters from upstream to downstream of the conveyance pipe 20 by rotating; a lid part 23 which is provided at the downstream end part of the conveyance pipe 20 and normally opens an opening 20A, and closely contacts with an opening 29A by a suction force generated when the internal space 10A is made to have negative pressure; and a through hole which is provided to the lid part 23 to make the air flow for pushing back the particulate matters at the downstream end part of the conveyance pipe 20 to the upstream side under a condition where the lid part 23 closely contacts with the opening 20A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
