Abstract:
To achieve a vehicular hood structure that can accomplish weight saving while securing a rigidity of a hood outer panel.SOLUTION: A vehicular hood structure includes: a hood outer panel 12 which forms an outer panel of a hood 10 that covers a vehicle front section space of an unillustrated vehicle so as to be openable and closable, and which extends along a substantially vehicle back-and-forth direction; and an unillustrated hood inner panel which is placed at a vehicle lower side relative to the hood outer panel 12, and which forms an inner panel of the hood 10. According to the hood outer panel 12, a plate thickness at a low curvature portion 32 is greater than a plate thickness at a high curvature portion 30 that has a higher rigidity than that of the low curvature portion 32, and the plate thickness changes in sequence from the low curvature portion 32 to the high curvature portion 30. Accordingly, the plate thickness of the high curvature portion 30 is prevented from being set excessively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
