Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire 2 which achieves reduction in rolling resistance, without impairing durability.SOLUTION: The tire 2 includes: a center part 36 in which a base layer 30 of a tread 4 is positioned on an equatorial plane; and a pair of side parts 38 positioned outside of the center part 36 in an axial direction respectively. The side parts 38 are arranged at an interval from the center part 36. A shoulder main groove 18s of the tread 4 is positioned between the center part 36 and the side parts 38 in the axial direction. A clearance SB from the shoulder main groove 18s to the base layer 30 is 6 mm to 25 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
