To provide a recording device that, in processing to record the time-series values of an input signals, more easily records a time-series change of the signal value.SOLUTION: A recording device 3 comprises: a determination reference value acquisition unit 372 that, on the basis of a signal value in a reference period that is a predetermined period after time-series signal values are started to be input, acquires a determination reference value that is a value indicating the feature of the signal value in the reference period; and a recording control unit 371 that acquires, on the basis of the determination reference value, a recording start condition that is a condition indicating that a large change occurs in a signal value after the passage of the reference period compared with the signal value in the reference period, and in response to the fact that the recording start condition is satisfied, starts recording of the signal values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
