Abstract:
To provide a heat ray flow meter capable of accurately measuring a flow rate of measured fluid even in a state in which there is a temperature change in the measured fluid.SOLUTION: A measured fluid moves downstream in the order of a first temperature measuring sensor and a second temperature measuring sensor, and the temperature of the measured fluid is measured by generating a thermal signal having two peaks with the heater, and superimposing the heat signal to the measured fluid at the time T0. For a first and second temperature measuring sensors, a plurality of thresholds are set, and for each threshold value, the time until the heat signal exceeds the threshold again from the time of exceeding the threshold is measured. For example, if the threshold Value Th is set, the time a is measured by a first counter 207, and the time b is measured by a second counter 209. And if the time a and the time b are equal, the flow rate of the measured fluid is calculated based on the time T in which the measured fluid has moved in the distance from a first temperature measurement sensor to a second temperature measurement sensor, that is, the time T time measured by a third counter 210.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
