Abstract:
To prolong a replacement life of a rider ring arranged on a crosshead outer periphery of a reciprocating compressor using a crosshead piston.SOLUTION: A reciprocating compression crosshead piston using a crosshead piston has a piston part and a crosshead part. A plurality of piston rings is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the piston part. A rider ring is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the crosshead part. The crosshead piston has a space inside. The piston part has a first vent hole that exhausts blow-by through the internal space of the crosshead piston between the piston rings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
