Abstract:
To provide a cup-shaped container which is easy to hold and does not easily slip, and of which the sealability of the seal lid against the flange of the upper edge of the container is good.SOLUTION: On a cup-shaped container 1 which has a flange 3 for applying a seal lid 6 on the top of a containing part 2, a shallow hollow 4 for gripping is formed on the side surface of the containing part 2 and extends vertically, and on the upper end part of the hollow 4, a step part 5 is formed which is a curved inclined plane and of which the hollow 4 becomes the lowest part. During in-mold molding, a label 7 attached on the containing part 2 is to be put on the corresponding part of the exterior surface 6 of the step part in such a way that its upper edge 8 is slightly in touch with the exterior surface 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
