Abstract:
To provide an integrated absorptive gas separation method integratable to a fossil fuel combustion process, which method separates a portion of combustion gas stream containing carbon dioxide and water components from a fuel combustion furnace.SOLUTION: The integrated absorptive gas separation method comprises: forming a combustion gas stream; admitting the combustion gas stream into a carbon dioxide component absorptive gas separation system; admitting the combustion gas stream into an absorbent contactor; absorbing a portion of the carbon dioxide component of the combustion gas stream; recovering a first product stream from the absorbent contactor; admitting a desorption fluid stream into an absorbent contactor; desorbing a first portion of the absorbed carbon dioxide component; recovering a second product stream from the absorbent contactor; admitting an adjustment stream into an absorbent contactor; desorbing a second portion of the absorbed carbon dioxide component; admitting a portion of the second product stream into a condenser in a compression system to separate a portion of water components to form a compressed condensate stream; and admitting the compressed condensate steam into an HRSG heat exchanger conduit or an auxiliary heat exchanger to form a desorption fluid stream.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
