Abstract:
To inhibit oil from reaching a separation part of an oil separator.SOLUTION: A second blow-by gas passage 43b extending in a horizontal direction is defined at an interior of a cylinder block 11. An oil separator 50 includes: a separation part 52 located above an opening of the second blow-by gas passage 43b; and a connection passage 54 connecting the separation part 52 to the second blow-by gas passage 43b. A portion of the connection passage 54, located at the second blow-by gas passage 43b, forms a first passage part 54a extending in the horizontal direction. The first passage part 54a of the connection passage 54 has a passage sectional area smaller than that of the second blow-by gas passage 43b. A step 62 is provided at a connection portion between the first passage part 54a of the connection passage 54 and the second blow-by gas passage 43b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
