Abstract:
To reduce an upstream delay time for improving a wavelength switching delay, and switch a wavelength of an upstream communication in an uninterruptible manner.SOLUTION: A subscriber side device performing an optical communication with any wavelength between station side devices to which a plurality of wavelengths are assigned, comprises: switching destination candidate wavelength holding means of holding a plurality of switching destination candidate wavelengths of which an upstream delay time of each wavelength is periodically evaluated by each station side device; request quality detecting means of detecting a request quality of a lower-order network connected; control means of selecting the switch destination wavelength in accordance with the request quality from among the plurality of switch destination wavelengths held by the switch destination candidate wavelength holding means, and transmitting selection wavelength related information to each station side device; and wavelength switching control means of autonomously switching a connection wavelength with each station side device to the switch destination wavelength.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
