Abstract:
To inhibit the propagation of various bacteria in laundry after washing while completing washing in accordance with an arrival time required for a user to arrive at the installation position of a washing machine.SOLUTION: In a control method, the following steps are performed by using a computer: acquiring the position of a user of a washing machine and the installation position of the washing machine; acquiring an arrival time required for the user to arrive at the installation position on the basis of the position of the user and the installation position; acquiring operational information about the washing machine; determining whether the washing machine is performing washing, on the basis of the operational information; when it is determined that the washing machine is performing washing, acquiring a washing completion time required for the washing machine to complete washing; when the arrival time is longer than the washing completion time, generating instruction information for adding a first washing step for the washing machine to immerse laundry in water or for changing a time in the first washing step; and transmitting the generated instruction information to the washing machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
