Abstract:
To provide a molding machine which moves a movable board installed with a movable mold to a fixed board installed with a fixed mold using mold opening/closing mechanisms and performs pressing using pressing mechanisms, and which enables controlling device costs and/or securing a sufficient speed of mold opening/closing.SOLUTION: A molding machine 11 moves a movable board 20, on which a movable mold 19 is installed, to a fixed board 18, on which a fixed mold 17 is installed, by using mold opening/closing mechanisms 21, and presses them by using pressing mechanisms 22. The mold opening/closing mechanism 21 has at least two ball screws 38, at least two electric motors 44.45 for driving the respective ball screws 38 and ball screw nuts 33 through which the respective ball screws 38 are inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
