Abstract:
To grasp a position of a mobile communication terminal with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: According to an aspect of the present invention, a positional information providing system comprises the mobile communication terminal and a positional information providing server. The mobile communication terminal acquires identification information of the mobile communication base station wirelessly connected to the mobile communication terminal, and transmits the acquired identification information of the mobile communication base station to the positional information providing server via the mobile communication base station together with identification information of the mobile communication terminal. The positional information providing server provides a user terminal with information indicating the position of the mobile communication terminal estimated on the basis of the positional information of the mobile communication base station corresponding to the identification information of the mobile communication base station received from the mobile communication terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
