Abstract:
To provide an algae culture device capable of suppressing power required for circulating algae and a culture fluid.SOLUTION: An algae culture device comprises: a first tank having a space for storing therein, a culture fluid including algae; a second tank being arranged on a position higher than the first tank in a vertical direction and having a space for storing therein a culture fluid; a pumping mechanism for pumping the culture fluid to the second tank from the first tank; a reactor comprising an inlet hole in a liquid which is arranged in a height position which is higher than the second tank in the vertical direction and to which the culture fluid can reach by a siphon phenomenon due to a height difference between a liquid level of the culture fluid stored in the first tank and a liquid level of the culture fluid stored in the second tank, and an outlet hole in a liquid which is arranged at a position lower than the inlet hole, and discharges the culture fluid to the first tank, the reactor circulating the culture fluid from the inlet hole to the outlet hole; and a path for filling the culture fluid for forming the siphon phenomenon to the reactor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
