Abstract:
To provide a lighting device that enables an effect such as coloring living things such as aquarium fish without artificially coloring the living things and with a comparatively small-scaled configuration.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1 includes: a first polarization unit 20 which generates illumination light with a polarization plane as a first plane using a display device for displaying an image according to an instruction input from an information processing device 3 as a light source 10 or with natural light as a light source to emit the illumination light to a space in which a target object for illumination is located; and a second polarization unit 30 which transmits light with a second plane orthogonal to the first plane as a polarization plane in light that arrives through the space in which the target object is located.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
