Abstract:
To provide a drive device which can swith its state between a state in which a movable member is braked by an electric drive mechanism and a state in which the movable member is braked only by human power, and to provide a drive system.SOLUTION: A drive device is used in a small vehicle including a bicycle. The drive device includes: an electric drive mechanism which includes an electric motor and is configured to drive a movable member; a transmission part configured to transmit power from an operation part to the movable member; and a switch mechanism which switches a state of the drive device from one of a first state in which the movable member is driven by power of the electric motor and a second state in which the movable member is driven by power from the operation part to the other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
