Abstract:
To provide circuits and methods related to switchless carrier aggregation in high frequency receivers.SOLUTION: In one embodiment, a carrier aggregation (CA) circuit may include a first filter configured so as to allow operation in a first frequency band, and a second filter configured so as to allow operation in a second frequency band. The CA circuit may also include a first signal path mounted between the first filter and an output node. The first signal path includes a plurality of amplification stages configured so as to amplify a first radio-frequency (RF) signal. The first signal path may be substantially free of a switch. The CA circuit may further include a second signal path mounted between the second filter and the output node. The second signal path includes a plurality of amplification stages configured so as to amplify a second RF signal.
