Abstract:
To provide a workpiece loading method that can downsize a workpiece stocker structure and facilitate loading operations.SOLUTION: A method for loading a workpiece for an NC machine tool includes: a hand part for chucking a workpiece; a vertical rail part for moving the hand part vertically; and a drive device for controlling an amount of movement of the hand part. The drive device detects a position of a workpiece by pressing the hand part onto the workpiece while monitoring the load in a state of limiting the output torque of a feed motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
