Abstract:
To provide a lubricant oil composition which is improved in its cooling and heat resisting capacity, and which is suitably used for cooling and lubricating an electric motor of a vehicle using an electric motor as its driving source including an electric car and a hybrid car.SOLUTION: A lubricant oil composition of the present invention comprises: (A)a base oil which comprises one or more mineral oil and/or synthetic oil and has a kinematic viscosity of 1.0-3.0 mm/s at 100°C; (B1)0.015-0.05 mass% of a boron-containing succinimide ashless dispersant based on the total amount of the composition in terms of boron content and 0.01-0.2 mass% in terms of nitrogen content; and (C)5 mass% or less of a polymethacrylate viscosity-index improver based on the total amount of the composition. The lubricant oil composition has a kinematic viscosity of 19 mm/s or less at 40°C and of 5.0 mm/s at 100°C, and is used for cooling and lubricating an electric motor which drives a vehicle using an electric motor as its driving source.SELECTED DRAWING: None
