Abstract:
To provide a green tea composition containing a green tea component as an active ingredient and useful for preventing and improving mild cognitive impairment, and a green tea component-containing product.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a green tea composition for maintaining a healthy cognitive function or improving mild cognitive impairment, containing green tea leaf powder, and an excipient. In the green tea leaf powder, the content of theanine is 1.0-4.0 mass%, the content of catechin is 5.0-12.5 mass%, the content of caffeine is 2.5-5.0 mass%. The green tea leaf powder accounts for 10-90 mass% of the total. Of the catechin contained in the green tea leaf powder, the percentage of epigallocatechin gallate is 0.5-0.8.SELECTED DRAWING: None
