Abstract:
To provide an imaging device capable of reducing an influence of periodic noise while minimizing an increase in time required to read a signal in one row.SOLUTION: An imaging device performs control in a first reading operation so that reading timing of a reference signal of first and second photoelectric conversion units, reading timing of a signal charge stored in either the first or second photoelectric conversion unit, and addition reading timing of signal charges stored in the first and second photoelectric conversion units have a predetermined relationship with the frequency of a noise source that occurs during a reading operation of an image signal, and in a second reading operation, performs control so that reading timing of a reference signal 1 of the first photoelectric conversion unit and reading timing of a stored signal charge 1 have a predetermined relationship with the frequency of a noise source that occurs during a reading operation of the image signal and performs control so that reading timing of a reference signal 2 of the second photoelectric conversion unit and reading timing of a stored signal charge 2 have a predetermined relationship with the frequency of a noise source that occurs during a reading operation of the image signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
