Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a nickel metal hydride storage battery, capable of securing a charge reserve.SOLUTION: A method 100 of manufacturing a nickel metal hydride storage battery 1 includes: an electrolyte injection step S2 in which an electrolyte is injected into a case 5 where an electrode laminate 15 is housed, the electrode laminate including a plurality of positive and negative electrodes laminated with a separator 13 interposed therebetween; a gas injection step S3 in which oxygen-containing gas is injected into the case 5; a sealing step S4 in which the case 5 is sealed to form a battery assembly 1a; and an activation step S5 in which the battery assembly 1a is subjected to initial charge to be activated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
