Abstract:
To provide a step device for vehicle which can adjust an amount of projection of a step plate while assuring excellent getting-on and -off performance.SOLUTION: A marginal part (41e) of a vehicle body (locker 30) of a first step plate 41 is provided with a separation part 413 which can be so located as to be separated vehicle outward with respect to the vehicle body (locker 30). A non-step region 60 with no existence of a plate part, which should become a footboard, is formed between the separation part 413 and the vehicle body (locker 30). A second step plate 42 is installed on the vehicle body (locker 30) or a support mechanism 43 so as to cover the non-step region 60 from a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
