Abstract:
To provide an article management system which avoids overlapping a beacon signal transmitting similar positional information, and achieves power saving.SOLUTION: An article management system includes: a storage device including opening/closing detection means and first beacon transmitting/receiving means; a wearable device including operation detection means and second beacon transmitting/receiving means; a beacon transmitting/receiving device which each transmits/receives positional information transmitted from the first beacon transmitting/receiving means at a predetermined interval, positional information transmitted from the second beacon transmitting/receiving means at a predetermined interval and a beacon signal including information on the operation detection means of the wearable device; and a storage state determination device which determines a storage state. The article management system determines that the wearable device is stored in the storage device with the storage state determination means, and controls a change in a positional information transmission frequency of the wearable device transmitted at the predetermined interval by the result of the opening/closing detection means and the result of the operation detection of the operation detection means of the wearable device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
